帷殡,非古也(yě ),自敬姜之哭穆伯始也(yě )。丧(sàng )礼(lǐ ),哀戚之至也(yě )。节哀(āi ),顺变(biàn )也;君子念始之者也。复,尽爱(ài )之道(dào )也,有祷祠之(zhī )心(xīn )焉(yān );望反诸幽,求诸(zhū )鬼神(shén )之道也(yě );北面(miàn ),求(qiú )诸幽之(zhī )义也。拜稽颡,哀(āi )戚之至隐也(yě );稽颡,隐之甚(shèn )也(yě )。饭用米贝(bèi ),弗(fú )忍虚也;不以食道,用美焉尔。铭,明旌也,以死(sǐ )者为不可别已,故以其旗(qí )识之(zhī )。爱之(zhī ),斯(sī )录之矣;敬之,斯尽其道焉耳(ěr )。重,主道也(yě ),殷主(zhǔ )缀重(chóng )焉;周主重(chóng )彻焉。奠(diàn )以素器,以生者有(yǒu )哀素(sù )之心也;唯祭(jì )祀之礼(lǐ ),主人自尽焉(yān )尔;岂知(zhī )神之所飨(xiǎng ),亦(yì )以主人有齐敬(jìng )之心(xīn )也(yě )。辟(pì )踊,哀之至也,有算,为之节文也。袒(tǎn )、括(kuò )发,变(biàn )也;愠,哀(āi )之变也。去饰,去美(měi )也(yě );袒、括(kuò )发,去饰之甚也。有所(suǒ )袒、有所袭,哀之(zhī )节也。弁绖葛而葬,与神交之道也,有(yǒu )敬(jìng )心焉。周人弁而葬,殷人(rén )冔(xǔ )而葬。歠(chuò )主人、主妇室(shì )老(lǎo ),为(wéi )其(qí )病(bìng )也,君命食(shí )之也(yě )。反哭升堂,反诸(zhū )其所作也;主妇入于室,反诸其所养(yǎng )也。反哭之吊也,哀之(zhī )至也--反而(ér )亡焉,失之矣,于是为(wéi )甚。殷(yīn )既封而(ér )吊,周(zhōu )反哭而吊(diào )。
